Day 1: Saboo – Lamayuru

Day 2: Discovering Lamayuru
Dedicate this day to an in-depth exploration of Lamayuru Monastery and its temples adorned with ancient frescoes. In the morning, immerse yourself in a unique spiritual experience by attending the morning puja, a vibrant and serene ceremony. In the afternoon, venture to the sacred cave of Atitse, where Master Naropa meditated in the 11th century, imbuing the place with a special spiritual energy. Return to Lamayuru for a second overnight stay.
Day 3: Lamayuru – Dha
The journey continues to the unique villages of Dha, nestled in a remote valley. This village is renowned for preserving Aryan traditions, offering a fascinating immersion into a rare and authentic culture. Stroll through the alleys, meet the locals, and discover their way of life. Overnight stay in the village of Dha.
Day 4: Dha – Alchi Leaving Dha
The journey takes you to Alchi, famous for its 11th-centuryBuddhist temples. This exceptional UNESCO World Heritage site houses ancient murals and sculptures that testify to Indo-Tibetan art. Enjoy the serenity of this spiritually charged place. Overnight stay in Alchi.
Day 5: Alchi – Saboo
On the final day, return to the village of Saboo with a notable stop at Spituk Monastery, perched on a hill and offering panoramic views of the Indus Valley. After a day of discoveries and contemplation, arrive at Oogpa House for a last night of rest and comfort. A journey rich in landscapes, spirituality, and connections, perfect for discovering the soul of Ladakh.
